We are proud to congratulate Sophie Woods on receiving the 2026 Mallon AgCommodities Country Education Scholarship. She will be studying at the University of Sydney, undertaking a Bachelor of Education – Secondary, majoring in Geography with a minor in Business. Sophie brings a unique perspective to her studies, having spent her gap year working as a deckhand on a pearl boat, demonstrating resilience, initiative and a strong work ethic. Passionate about giving back, she hopes to return to a rural community to teach and make a positive difference for future generations. Sophie is putting her scholarship towards university accommodation, helping her settle into campus life and focus on achieving her academic and career goals.
